Extreme close ups areshots of people's faces; from their forehead to their chin. These shots are commonly used to emphasise the person's emotions and allows the audience to focus on the person's facial expressions. In extreme close ups the main ocus is either on a person or an object, therefore there shouldn't be that much background in the shot.

Long shot- Shows a black figure in the distance using depth of field to show how far he has to walk as he gradually walks into a… Medium close shot- Shows character’s silhouette of face/head and shoulders and also shows his gun which is lifted. As he starts to walk forwards, we see it through.. Point of view shot- Used to show what the character can see as he is walking into (possible) danger which builds suspense.
