The Hollow Pond

After brainstorming, we decided upon our final synopsis by merging the two best ideas we had. Mark, Daniel and Anthony came up with the killer in the forest storyline whereas Hannah had the idea of the interrupted party. We incorporated both ideas into our film by making them linked murders, through the use of props (the photos of the victims thrown upon them after they're deceased). We decided that the setting should be in the forest because it was a key part of the iconography that we researched. The idea of the killer and his seemingly unlinked murders was inspired from David Fincher's thriller 'Zodiac' and the lake scene was a nod to that movie.-Mark
